In a sea of rosés in Provence, the winemakers also craft fine fruity whites. The Domaine du Paternel proposes a cuvée brought to life through an assemblage of Rolle, Ugni Blanc and Semillon grapes.
The grapes used to produce this white wine are sourced from our Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer and Roquefort-la-Bedoule vineyards in the Côtes-de-Provence appellation.
The vines grow on clay-limestone plains. Once harvested, the grapes are brought into the winemaking facility in Cassis for pressing right away. The juices ferment for three weeks in thermo-regulated steel or concrete vats and the varietals are blended in November to create the vintage.
This wine can be enjoyed with shellfish and seafood, sea urchins, oysters and grilled fish like sea bream or bass. It is also lovely as an aperitif.
- Pale yellow with glints of green, bright and clear.
- Very expressive with notes of citrus, white flowers and white peach.
- Bursting with flavor and crispness. White fruit and citrus. This wine has a lovely finish that’s both long and delicate.
The composition of varietals and proportions vary from year to year.
