Domaine du paternel
Blanc
AOC Côte-de-Provence
In a sea of rosés in Provence, the winemakers also craft fine fruity whites. The Domaine du Paternel proposes a cuvée brought to life through an assemblage of Rolle, Ugni Blanc and Semillon grapes.
Origins
The grapes used to produce this white wine are sourced from our Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer and Roquefort-la-Bedoule vineyards in the Côtes-de-Provence appellation.
Terroir
The vines grow on clay-limestone plains. Once harvested, the grapes are brought into the winemaking facility in Cassis for pressing right away. The juices ferment for three weeks in thermo-regulated steel or concrete vats and the varietals are blended in November to create the vintage.
Pairing
This wine can be enjoyed with shellfish and seafood, sea urchins, oysters and grilled fish like sea bream or bass. It is also lovely as an aperitif.
