A Special Dinner on the Estate #MPG2019

On July 2, 2019, the World of Gastronomy graced the Domaine du Paternel in what was an exceptional evening.

As part of the 2019 Marseille Provence Gastronomy event, the Domaine du Paternel opened its doors to Michelin-starred chef Dimitri Droisneau for the evening.

In fact, twenty dinners of this type were organized in “unusual” locations: historic landmarks, farms and even industrial facilities. It was a unique opportunity to spend an evening discovering Provençal gastronomy and exploring the personal universe of a diverse group of local chefs. An extraordinary culinary journey! 

130 guests tasted exceptional dishes accompanied by the property’s wines. 

The chef also created the “Cassis eclair” as a starter for this special occasion featuring squid ink, composed of several marinated and smoked fishes... This delicious dish was paired with our Blanc de Blancs.

The Esprit de famille blend was sublime with a roasted, then smoked monkfish with artichokes. To finish on a sweet note, the Grand Reserve Red was the perfect match for the red berry pavlova.
